Raspberry Pie

No. 28 ·

Randall stands sadly beside a Christmas tree with an empty stocking and torn wrapping paper on the floor, while Samantha, in pajamas, cheerfully offers to help.

  1. Randall: I’m jealous. Mike got a Raspberry Pi for Christmas.
  2. Samantha: Don’t be silly, I’ll whip one up for you sweetie!
  3. Randall: It’s a credit-card sized programmable computer!
  4. Samantha: ...Oh.

Samantha says…

Recently, our friend was bragging about his new raspberry pi while on the phone with Randall. Poor Randall was very jealous. I know how much he loves all kind of berries and pies, although I’ve never seen him have a slice of raspberry pie. I, relying on my wifey skills, offered to bake him one. I felt like I could solve this problem! That’s when he told me it had nothing to do with my baking potential or scope of knowledge. Apparently, a raspberry pi is a new kind of tiny programmable computer that only costs like 35$. I felt stupid because this happens when he talks about Tastypie too.
